Yale Assure Lock 2 with Matter for a full replacement. SwitchBot Lock Ultra when you cannot change the cylinder. Both report lock state reliably to Apple Home and Home Assistant, which older Bluetooth locks never did.
Best Matter thermostat

Eve Energy (Thread) if you want energy monitoring that stays local. Nanoleaf Essentials A19 for lamps. Skip random Amazon house-brand Matter plugs unless you like surprise firmware.

Apple TV 4K or a HomePod if you are in Apple Home. Home Assistant Green + a Thread border router if you want to own the stack. Aqara Camera Hub G5 Pro if you need one Ethernet drop to do Thread and a camera. Amazon Echo Hub is the cleanest Alexa wall controller, not the best Thread radio.
