Yale lists more than one Assure Lock 2 price by radio. Compare the Wi-Fi Plus, not a Bluetooth-only trim.

Install	Replacement lock for a standard door prep, not a retrofit over an existing thumbturn.
Radios	Bluetooth on Assure Lock 2 models. Wi-Fi on the Wi-Fi trims, on a 2.4 GHz network for the Yale Access app.
Apple Home Key	Built in on the Plus. Tap an iPhone or Apple Watch.
Matter	Not asserted here. Yale sells several modules. Read the box for a Matter mark instead of assuming every Assure Lock 2 has it.

Software for Yale Assure Lock 2 Plus
App	Yale Access app for Wi-Fi models, including guest codes and remote unlock.
HomeKit	HomeKit over Bluetooth. Away-from-home HomeKit control needs a HomePod, HomePod mini, or Apple TV as a home hub.
Other platforms	Yale says partner integrations apply to Wi-Fi models. Bluetooth-only models stay with Apple Home.

SKU trap	Bluetooth-only and Wi-Fi are different products. Auto-unlock and remote access stories depend on which module is in the box.
