The robot vacuum market in 2026 is a dock arms race. Pads get washed, water gets heated, arms get bolted on. Most houses need none of the theater. They need a map that survives a chair moving six inches.
Best for most homes
A current Roborock Qrevo Curv / Edge class robot. It mops well, avoids socks, and does not cost flagship-arm money. Dreame’s equivalent mid-flagship is the runner-up if you find a better bundle.
